  • While our horses roam freely across vast sanctuary lands, you're welcome to book a private tour during the months of May-September to see your horse in their natural habitat. We'll do our best to help locate your horse during your visit.

  • Absolutely! Horse sponsorships make meaningful gifts. We'll send all sponsorship materials to either you or your gift recipient, and we can even help you select a horse that matches their interests.

  • Your sponsorship is a monthly commitment that automatically renews. You can adjust or cancel your sponsorship at any time through your online account.

  • 100% of your sponsorship contribution goes toward providing essential care for our horses, including food, veterinary care, and maintenance of their sanctuary habitat. We're committed to transparent use of all donations.

  • Yes, Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so your sponsorship contribution is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. You'll receive an annual statement of your contributions for tax purposes.
